Upcoming Festivals: Coachella 2023

The most sought after music festival in the United States is coming back for another year of music celebration this upcoming April.

The largest, most successful, and infamous music festival held in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado desert is returning for another year of good energy, celeb sightings, outfits, and even better, good music.


The festival has had performances from incredible artists like Beyoncé, The Head and the Heart, Mac DeMarco, Jorja Smith, Dr Dre & Snoop Dogg, The Strokes, Duran Duran, Jack White, and more. While the festival includes both current popular artists and emerging independent musicians, they mix in various genres on their multiple stages. The mass success of Coachella led to other festivals like Stagecoach, thrash Metal, and Desert Trip.

Bad Bunny | Youtube


From Grammy nominations for his recent album “Un Verani Sin Ti” to consistent chart toppers like “Un Porto Bonito” and “Titi Me Pregunto” to sold out stadiums. In December of 2022, he released "Gato de Noche" with Ñengo Flow, which has already surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify alone. After performing at the 2019 festival, Bad Bunny is headlining this year with his biggest album to date and ready to deliver a jaw-dropping performance and energy like no other.


BLACKPINK | Spotify


The most successful Korean girl group to date with hits like “How You Like it” and “As If It’s Your Last” are headlining Coachella’s day two. With the release of their newest album “Born Pink”, which was made available in the fall of 2022 has been nominated for Album of the Year at the Genie Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, MAMA Awards, and Golden Disc Awards in 2022. Plenty of their music has reached Billboard status and they continue to deliver chart toppers and make history as one of the first girl groups to top the genre since the early 2000s.


Frank Ocean | New York Times


The critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and rapper, Frank Ocean is set to headline Coachella day 3. Despite not releasing an album since 2016, his music continues to be an eclectic and consistent favorite both on social media and streaming services. With hit singles like “Lost” and “Pink + White”, his avant-garde music style is unlike any other artist. After just 4 years of no live performances, his Coachella performance is one to look forward to.



Despite the anticipation for the three headliners, other talented acts are also heading to the Coachella Valley for this year's festival....

With her newest release just last week of “I Wish You Roses”, which is already a fan favorite on both streaming platforms and Billboard, along with her announcement of releasing two new albums in 2023, Kali will be performing at this year’s Coachella day two. With hits like “SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY” and “After The Storm”, Kali’s taking the stage with plenty of hits to encapsulate the fans as she gets ready to release her newest album. Her gorgeous music and voice is something fans are looking forward to seeing at this year's festival.



boygenius | The Rolling Stone


The indie rock band, boygenius is heading to Coachella for the first time and will be showcasing their recently released studio album, “the record”. The record includes three singles titled, “$20”, “Emily I’m Sorry”, and “True Blue” with more music on the way. The trio itself includes Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker who are not only close friends but have performed with one another and “by-accidentally” formed the iconic band. The three iconic voices merge together perfectly and have created some mass successes of songs including "Me & My Dog" and "Souvenir". Fans are ready to these the trio on stage this spring.



Labrinth | Euphoria Magazine


The English singer, songwriter, and producer is taking the stage this year after years of mass success with his albums. Notably for the popular show "Euphoria", like "Imagination & the Misfit Kid" and "Euphoria". The albums themselves reached Billboard charts for the first time in his career. With hits like "Still Don't Know My Name" and "Jealous", Labrinth's style of music and performances ranges far and wide. The anticipation for his upcoming album continues as he released three new singles under the album "Iridium"in the fall of 2022.



EARTHGANG | Pitchfork


The popular duo, Olu and WowGr8 make up the popular hiphop group EARTHGANG. With successful singles and collaborations like J.Cole, JID, and Smino, the group will be heading to this year's festival with plenty of music to spill from their last album. The recently released album, "GHETTO GODS", gained mass appraisal and led to their deluxe album, which features Wiz Khalifa, Future, and more. Their most recent single, "Communion in My Cup", released in the fall of 2022 along with its music video was a crowd favorite especially with its features including "Tank and The Bangas" and "The Ton3s".

Ali Sethi | Instagram


Pakistani singer, Ali Sethi will be taking the stage this year for the first time performing his popular singles, like "Ishq", "Ghazab Kiya", and "Chan Kithan". His 2022 release, "Pasoori" was ranked at number 1 on Spotify's India "Viral 50" chart, listed on Spotify's Global Chart, and was debut on Coke Studio Season 14. The Coke Studio Session has reached over 500 million views and currently the most watched Coke Studio music video. Despite this being his first Coachella performance, he is also the second Pakistani artist to perform at the festival.

House music artist, Chris Stussy will be heading in on day 1 of the festival. His most recent release, "Mysteries of the Universe" is one you're gonna want to see. His other feel-good hits including, "Seeing & Believing" and "Evening Drive" are other popular tracks of his and will bring all of the good energy this spring. Stussy will be performing year round both internationally and in the US with a quick pit-stop in the Coachella Valley.

Day 2 will also be featuring singer and songwriter, UMI, the young R&B performer will be heading to her first Coachella with some popular songs under her belt... "Remember Me", "Butterfly", and "Love Affair" are a few of the many songs fans are hoping to hear. Her newest album "Forest in the City" is a major success along with her newest drop, "wish that I could", which will definitely be featured in her upcoming Coachella performance.

Jenny Juárez or better known as BRATTY is an emerging singer who has been releasing music on streaming platforms since 2018. With multiple successful singles and albums, she is paving the way for Mexican independent artists as she is one of the first female artists to gain massive success within the genre. The pop singer's multiple successful hits like "Honey, No Estás", "Quédate - Acústico", and "Fin Del Mundo" are only a few of her popular tracks that fans are eager to hear this April.
