Her new album "Eternal Sunshine" was a spur of the moment decision as the singer had no intention of dropping any music during the filming and press for "Wicked". She detailed the first recording session for the body of work where she headed to Jungle Studios in New York and began pouring out music, which felt like a therapeutic moment for her. The cathartic feelings that came from spilling her soul in the recording booth were the surefire sign that she was ready to release new music.

The album's name itself is connected to the saying "ignorance is bliss", which reinstates the belief of allowing yourself to move past the negativity, prior traumas and pain in order to write something new, beautiful and enter a more blissful state. She continues to say that the body of art is beautifully tragic by its welcoming of the new whilst letting go of the old and in a sense, erasing the past. Despite the emotional context seeming heavy, its sound is fun-loving, elevated, and quirky.

The energy surrounding Eternal Sunshine delves into a more humanistic and authentic approach than her previous works and surrounds themes of change, love, growth, and loss. She explained how the writing process was the most emotional and heaviest from her discography.

With its first public release, "yes, and?" receiving massive appraisal for its more intricate and unique sound and she dips her art into the dance space.

Grande won't be teasing any of the other songs to ensure the flow of the track list tells a certain story, however, the remaining titles have been released. There are no features from other talent, however, Ariana's Nonna is featured in the final song, "ordinary things".

Although her stepping back from pop star, Ariana Grande was due to the newfound busy schedule from filming, she also felt as though healing from past & current traumas needed to take priority. She explained how hiding behind her alter ego of a world renown singer and performer were preventing her from fully healing the human side of her.

The time away, specifically during the filming and prep for Glinda was exactly what she needed when it came to mending her bond with music and curating a healthier outlook on music. Grande's beginnings in the world of music and the musical theatre space budded at a young age, however, when she began taking stage as the award winning pop singer, she soon lost site of her beginnings.

The film, "Wicked" brought her back into the Broadway space and redefine who she was and would like to be as a musician. This allowed her to strip back to the basics of her vocal ability, performing onstage, and truly heal the parts of herself she lost. After securing the role, she devoted herself entirely to the role, which resulted in taking parts of the character's personality and use them to mend parts of herself she didn't realize were needing it.

{"Your brain kind of gets used to certain behaviors, like, something that Glinda has is like this very sure sense of self, and she isn't very apologetic, she's very good, she's very kind but she's like very certain. She takes up a lot of space unapologetically and I think I maybe before knowing Glinda and spending a lot of time with her would cram myself into tiny little spaces and be kinda of apologetic of what I come with and who I am and anything..." }

Following the completion of the 13 track album and teetering on letting the public know, the bound of nerves never seem to leave, especially since the album itself is her first concept album and is set apart from the previous work. Furthermore, the popstar fears that her true fans will be unhappy with the duration of the work as it appears smaller than her previous discography.

Although Ariana had teased a two album tour, there may not be a formal row of performances for the 2024 album due to schedule conflicts and emotional toll. The last tour under her belt was in 2019 for Thank U Next & Sweetener, however, the singer has no plans to embark on another one.

The media encircling the leaked audio for the unreleased song "Fantasize" was even discussed in the vulnerable interview where pirates posted the studio session, which had fans feeling robbed of a hit single. She confirmed that the audios were for side projects and weren't meant to be in the public's hands. Moreover, Ariana touches on the media headlining her name this past year and left us with the knowledge that the tabloid's narrative are choosing to exploit her and sway us into believing falsities.
