With an array of new music coming in 2024 from new artists to those who have paved the way for a multitude of genres, we may be on our way towards the best year for music as loyal fans are prepared for some of the most unique albums to date.

1."The Tortured Poets Department" by Taylor Swift
Despite longtime Swifties awaiting the re-recorded version of her studio album "Reputation", Taylor announced her brand new body of work on the Grammy stage after winning "Best Pop Vocal". It's been described as a conglomeration of love & loss with hint of pop & rock. She's teased the entire tracklist, including the collaborations, which include Post Malone and Florence and the Machine.
2."Hit Me Hard and Soft" by Billie Eilish
In addition to her second academy award, Billie Eilish took to social media to make public her new original album with an audio snippet of what's to come within this brand new drop. Although the singer isn't officially dropping singular songs in preparation for its release date, the entirety of the story will bend and break you mentally and is quoted as her most bold piece of music to date.
3. "Radical Optimism" by Dua Lipa
The pop princess, Dua Lipa dropped "Houdini" at the end of 2023 as she prepares for this new era of her discography. Mark May 3rd in your calendar because her new music is sure to be one you'll have on repeat.
4."What I Am" by Zayn Malik
After a 3 year hiatus from releasing music, Zayn is letting us into his storyline in 2024. His first lead single from his upcoming album, titled "What I Am" is an alternative and emotionally-charged body of work that sets itself apart from his older music.
5. "We Still Don't Trust You" by Future & Metro Boom
This may be the collaboration of the year with Future and Metro Boomin's new sister album to their recent drop "WE DON'T TRUST YOU". Despite an unconfirmed tracklist, fans are speculating that multiple artists will be heard on this upcoming no skips drop.
6."Best of Bruce Springsteen" by Bruce Springsteen
Springsteen is giving longtime fans what they want in 2024 with a collection of his most popular songs combined into one iconic album. The 18 songs include hits from each decade, such as "Born to Run", "Streets of Philadelphia", and "Hello Sunshine". His more modern twists to the old gems are exactly what we need this year.
7."brat" by Charli XCX
The electric / disco drop is well on its way to be this summer's anthem with its nostalgic maximalist energy and 2000s-inspired sound. The single "Von Dutch" quickly climbed the charts, followed by "Club Classics" and "B2b", which are keeping us warm until the next season.
8."PartyNextDoor 4 (P4) by PartyNextDoor
The wait is officially over with the 4th installment to PartyNextDoor's new album following their 2020 drop "Partymobile". They delivered a short EP titled "R e a l W o m a n" in March to prepare us for what's to come later this year.
9."I'm Doing It Again Baby!" by Girl in Red
A successful year for Girl in Red and it doesn't stop here as the singer is giving us more with the upcoming album, set to drop on April 12th. She teased the new project with three tracks, one of which features Sabrina Carpenter and has quickly become a crowd favorite. Immediately after its drop, she'll be set off on her world tour.
10. "Don't Forget Me" by Maggie Rogers
After a two year wait on some new music from indie-pop singer Maggie Rogers, we're finally getting something new to have on repeat all year long. She announced her debut album and followed suit with two singles "So Sick Of Dreaming" and "Don't Forget Me", which may be her most emotional and intricate release to date. The entirety of "Don't Forget Me" includes 10 original tracks with no features.
11."Funk Generation" by Anitta
April 26th can't come soon enough with Anitta's new project "Funk Generation", a Brazilian-funk album. She stated that her upcoming music features Sam Smith & Chlöe with no intentions of making the official tracklist public.
12. "Can We Please Have Fun" by Kings of Leon
The alternative rock group have curated a new addition to their stellar discography with 12 official songs. They released "Split Screen" and "Mustang" to prepare us for what's to come on May 10th and will set off on their tour.
13."Fu##in' Up" by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
In addition to their new collaboration, Neil Young & Crazy Horse will head off on their tour to give fans a once in a lifetime experience as they celebrate their new album. "Broken Circle (Over and Over)" is their first public single from the upcoming collection, which was met with worldwide appraisal from loyal listeners and new fans.
14. "Bewitched: The Godess Edition" by Laufey
Her sister album to the massive success "Bewitched" is a continuation of her 2023 hit with an elevated sound. She opened up the conversation swirling around the jazz-pop album with the single "Goddess", which was met with nothing short of excitement from fans. The extended cut to her successful release includes 4 vault songs.
15."Almighty So2 by "Chief Keef
The 5th studio album from Chief Keef's successful discography was announced during his set at Rolling Loud with an official public date of April 26th. With over 18 new songs and features from Quavo, Lil Gnar, and more, we're ready to add more of this no-skips album onto our playlists.
16."Dark Matter" by Pearl Jam
Pearl Jam has curated a gorgeous collection of new music this year with its expected drop date of April 19th followed by a highly anticipated world tour. The group described their new tunes as a bit heavier than their prior work, however, its sound seemed to come easier to them. The group gave us two glimpses into what to expect with its lead single "Dark Matter" and "Running".
17."Reasonable Woman" by Sia
Powerhouse vocalist has been working on a self-empowering body of art since 2020. The 15 track collection features multiple talented artists, including Labrinth, Kylie Minogue, Missy Elliott, and Tierra Whack. Her new work features a more 'dance' energy and leads us to believe that she's on a different route in her artistry than her prior music.
18."Hood Poet" by Polo G
With a 3 year gap between his 2021 album "Hall of Fame 2.0", Polo G is finally giving us a brand new piece of music in the fall of 2024. With 5 officially released songs, including the widely successful "Barely Holdin' On", which openly discusses personal hardships he's experienced in his lifetime and peaked on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart.
