The Most Anticipated Albums of 2024

With the new year underway, countless tracks and albums already released, and multiple top artists teasing their upcoming music, we're listing some of the more anticipated albums of the year and are predictions for who else may be dropping music in 2024.



1. Ariana Grande

With three albums released from 2018 - 2021, Grande took a hiatus from releasing music as she explores new endeavors, from her makeup company to filming Wicked. Throughout 2023, fans have been speculating when AG7, officially titled "Eternal Sunshine" was releasing and it wasn't until December that she let the world know she's headed back into the studio and officially completed her 7th body of work. With no teasers or snippets of what's to come within her new music, we're forced to wait it out until January 12th, the release date of "yes, and?".


2. Lil Nas X

The top charting artist announced his upcoming work at the end of last year with official artwork, behind the scenes images, and egging fans on in preparation for his new sound. After several hits of backlash from the public, he responded with nothing but love and and appreciation for how far he's come in the industry. Although the album and upcoming release titles have yet to be public knowledge, we'll be expecting the January 12th drop to reach the charts immediately.


3. Megan Thee Stallion

Megan's official announcement for her next album was made public at the top of October centering around the theme of snakes. She followed suit by teasing behind the scenes imagery, visuals, and audio snippets with its first single, "Cobra", leaked on November 3rd. The track was adored worldwide, specifically in the US, UK, and New Zealand, and sat on the Billboard Hot 200 chart at #82. The remainder of the track list has yet to be announced but Megan has kept us warm for its drop in 2024.


4. Taylor Swift

Taylor has made 2023 her year with the release of two new Taylor's Version albums, including "1989" & "Speak Now". She'll be continuing to re-record her music well into 2024, including the 2019 "Reputation" album. Although its official date is to be determined, she's alluded to its upcoming drop at the top of 2024, specifically in February. This piece of art was her final debut under Big Machine Records and Swifties are at the ready for his epic renewal.


5. Usher

With the Halftime Show only weeks away, HipHop artist, Usher will be making headlines with a stellar throwback performance, blending old hits and new ones. The singer will be dropping "Coming Home" on February 9th, just two days before his headlining performance. Its featured songs include "Good Good", "Rick It All", and "Standing Next To You" with additional vocals from Jungkook, Summer Walker, and 21 Savage.


















Kid Cudi | Genius


6. Kid Cudi

Following his departure from long-time relationship with his current label, Kid Cudi is using his upcoming drop, "Insano" as a way to bridge the gap of Kid Cudi before to present date. Its features include that of Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, and more. The first tease to the album, "Porsche Topless" in the summer of 2023 played around with more synth-pop sounds and was followed by "AT THE PARTY" 5 months later. This piece of work may be one of the last albums we see from the artist in the coming years as he plans to take an indefinite hiatus.


7. Dua Lipa

The pop icon, Dua Lipa has since laid low from making music since her "Future Nostalgia" album in 2020, and even its Moonlight Edition in 2021. The singer was featured in the Barbie The Album track list with "Dance The Night" but waited a full 6 months before "Houdini". The song reeks of pure fun & love as most of her other big hits and gears her longtime fans into awaiting for her next studio drop.


8. Cardi B

In another successful collaboration with Megan The stallion for "BONGOS", the rapper and singer has kept us on her toes for the next big release. It's been 6 years since "Invasion of Privacy", her biggest album yet and she's promised fans that her next drop will take place in the next 12 months. Although she has yet to officially announce the title, sound, and a possible featured track, we're at the ready.


9. SZA

Despite the massive success of her latest public track list, "SOS", which has awarded her multiple accolades and nominations in 2023 & 2024, SZA is continuing her artistic endeavors in her upcoming work, "LANA". The 7-10 songs featured are said to be a completely different sound than her previous work. Although no teasers or official release dates have been made public, we're speculating that February is her intended push date.


10. Chelsea Cutler

The vulnerable 2023 drop that was "Stellaria" is a worldwide sensation that encapsulates love, appreciation, and affection. Although she's set to head on tour next month, Chelsea has been present on social media to capture her current studio time and even brought us into a recent studio session. She may not be dropping anything new until later this year but the new music she's creating will be sure to head to our playlists soon enough.



11. Lewis Capaldi

Capaldi's "Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent" was a worldwide sensation as it followed his vulnerable Netflix documentary. The beautifully crafted track list, made available in the spring of 2023 was followed by a few massive shows but ultimately led him to pulling out of touring and laying low for personal reasons. Despite his departure, he's continuing to craft music behind the scenes and even gave his fans an extended edition to last years drop. He's let his listeners know that he'll continue to stay away from the spotlight and craft brand new music is sure to be on its way later this year.

12. Bring Me The Horizon

Following their latest single "Kool Aid", an original rock track, their next body of work "POST HUMAN: NeX GEn will contain a culmination of irresistible songs with features from Lil Uzi Vert, Nova Twins, and more. Multiple fans have made public their ideas for the summer release but the group has yet to inform their fans on the next track drops or what the entirety of the art will encompass.


13. UMI

summer With a 2 year break between "Forest in the City" to her most recent work, "wherever u r" (ft. V of BTS), UMI is anticipated to give us something in 2024. Her latest single has topped the charts with over 23 million streams to date and followed the release of "happy im" and "why dont we go". She let her longtime fans know that some more exciting projects are in the works and to stay tuned in the coming months.


14. 24kGoldn

The success of "El Dorado" in 2021 & its deluxe follow up in 2022 set 24kGoldn for success in more recent years. With multiple singles such as "Bite", "NaNaNA Tokyo", and "Madness" led fans to expect a massive project in 2024. His latest piece of work, "Good Intentions" may be his last single before dropping a jaw-dropping track list. Although no peep from him or his label on what's next, we're sure to be at the ready.

  1. Ali Gatie

The beautiful music that has been added to Ali's discography is nothing short of perfect. His last deluxe studio drop in 2022 with "WHO HURT YOU?" was a culmination of incredible art that had us begging for more. In 2023 he gave us multiple singles but no official album date to circle on our calendars, however, 2024 may be his year. He kicked off the year with "I'm Sorry", a moving story that may segway us to a bigger project in route.


15. NGHTMRE

DJ, NGHTMRE has been delivering hit after hit consistently, from "DRMVRSE" in 2022, to its deluxe version in 2023, whilst giving their fans EPs and singles in the interim. Only 4 days into 2024 and he's teamed up with Jon Casey & Pauline Herr for "In Your Eyes", which prompts us into believing that a bigger piece of work is on its way. Although he's made no official announcement to indicate an expected date, we're awaiting his next project in the coming months.

16. Lil Uzi Vert

The rapper dropped "Pink Tape" an original track list with 26 songs in the summer of 2023 with no peep of a word for 2024, however, only 4 days before the new year did he drop "Red Moon". His more intimate style of music drew away from his previous work and hyped up his millions of fans for 2024. Although he hasn't made public what's to come this year, we expect him to release a plethora of new EPs and maybe a brand new collection of work at the end of the year.


17. Alec Benjamin

His fall 2022 tracklist, "(Un)Commentary" was the ideal spring drop with 13 solo tunes and multiple hits, including "Devil Doesn't Bargain". After a two year break, he dropped an acoustic EP for two of his original songs, including "I Sent My Therapist To Therapy" and "Different Kind Of Beautiful". He's entered the new year with a new kind of energy that fans are excited to hear in his next piece of work.


18. J. Cole

From his successful feature on Drake's latest album "For All The Dogs" and collaboration with Lil Yachty for "The Secret Recipe", J.Cole may be gearing up for a solo drop this year. His last studio album, "The Off-Season" was made available in the spring of 2021 with side projects within Dreamville but we may see something new in the works. As he joins Drake on tour, we may be getting closer to an official release date for the unnamed album.

19. Sheryl Crow

Her latest single "Alarm Clock" with accompanying music video was the perfect way to enter the holiday season & prepare for the new year. She let her valued fans know that a brand body of work was going to be ours on March 29th, titled "Evolution". With no other teasers for what's to come besides this fall single, we're excited to grab onto another incredible song from the talented Sheryl.


20. Aidan Bissett

Following the success of the 2022, "Tripping Over Air", Aidan has been delivering incredible singles, leading us to believe a complete album is on its way. There has yet to be a solidified date to mark our calendars but millions of fans are loving the new tunes he's made available. His latest one, "Ultraviolet" has racked up over 2 million streams and we're ready for more.


21. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has had a busy few years, from her residency in Vegas to "Love For Sale" collaboration with the late Tony Bennett in 2021 but Gaga may be back for a new album. Her last body of work, "Chromatica" was a commercial success and we've been ready for something new to add to our playlists for the past 4 years. On January 9th, the singer teased pictures of her in the studio, alluding to some new music at our fingertips later this year. Although no official release date or sound teasers have been leaked, we can't help but re-welcome the queen of pop back into the game.
