Culminated in the UK in the mid 2010s, Little Mix was formed as a result of the new era within the female pop group space. The quad forged between Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock formally kicked off following their solo auditions on the popularized show, X Factor, where other groups and artists have infamously found their successes. Other bands during this time, such as 5 Seconds of Summer, The Vamps, Fifth Harmony, and One Direction were surging across the charts and becoming the new teen heartthrobs for the masses.

The group became international breakthrough stars for their individualistic yet cohesive sounds that blended perfectly together within its Pop sound. Their biggest hits to date include "Black Magic", "Secret Love Song" feat. Jason Derulo, and "Love Me Like You" from their 2015 album "Get Weird". Despite being one of the most successful female groups, they've since found solitude in their own musical careers.

Shortly after the disbandment of Little Mix, Jade signed with RCA Records and shortly after release her first project,"Angel Of My Dreams". Despite the recognizable artistry from her time with the female group, Jade swayed more towards the R&B genre with a few odes of faithfulness to the Pop category.

With the autonomy to lead the direction of her own craft and produce music that aligns closer to home, the singer's newer music draws inspiration from some of the industry's biggest names, including Diana Ross. Thirwall even attributes her influence from Drag artists when it comes to curating an accentuated sound and pushing boundaries.

In preparation for her new album, she's released 4 tracks that will be available on the full body of work, including "Fantasy" and "Midnight Cowboy". Both "Fantasy" and "Angel Of My Dreams" charted across multiple countries, with #7 in the UK and #4 in New Zealand. The accompanying visualizer for her first song was met with worldwide appraisal and won Best Editing in a Video at the UK MVA's. Her new track "IT girl" quickly surpassed the previous releases with almost 3 million streams to date after only a week along with its viral music video. The full album is set to release this spring and is in talks of being nominated for countless more accolades.

Perrie Edwards is also seeing worldwide appraisal for her newfound solo career as the singer has reappeared in the entertainment space with the release of "Forget About Us". The Pop track, written by Ed Sheeran found its way charting at #10 on UK Singles and multiple other territories and breaching over 26 million streams to date. The fun-loving song was the first step away from her previous identity into a more elevated one as a one person act.

Following her signing with Columbia records, Edwards began exploring her own craft into a more elevated, mature, and individualistic body of work. She toys with other categories, such as Country and Dance, where she's found the sweet spot for her new music career.

The follow up songs for her upcoming album, "Tears", "You Go Your Way", and "Me, Myself, and You" all found themselves as massive successes, with "You Go Your Way" surpassing over 4.7 million streams.

Jesy Nelson found herself signing with Polydor Records and pushing out her first song, "Boyz" feat. Nicki Minaj. The HipHop and R&B sound is a culmination of pure joy, individualism, and maturity. Although the singer maintained a two year hiatus, she returned in 2023 with the song "Bad Thing". The Indie-Pop sound touches on significant and personal topics surrounding mental health, emotional abuse, and childhood.

Although the two publicly released tracks never led to a fully crafted album, Nelson dropped "Mine" with producer Zion Foster. The song remains in the comfortable realms of R&B and Soul, a simplistic yet layered piece of art discussing the sophisticated feelings tied to devotion and love.

Little Mix's fourth member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock has continued to skyrocket her career in the R&B, Dance, and Pop space with the first record, "Don't Say Love". The top charting solo track peaked at #11 on UK Singles and across multiple charts for its infectious production, ode to nostalgic UK Garage sound, and hard launch into her successful solo career.

While signing with Warner Records, the artist released multiple tracks alongside Ayra Starr, such a s "My Love", an Afrobeats and Afropop masterpiece, marking it as Pinnock's first song within the genre. The accompanying music video also received critical acclaim and was directed by Nigerian director Meji Alabi.

Within the past year, the singer has released two more tracks, "Stealin' Love" and "Forbidden Fruit", which led up to the official EP, "No Hard Feelings". The brand new release was met with worldwide appraisal and a multitude of newfound fans.
