From being the late 90s teen heartthrobs and worldwide pop sensations to creating a name for themselves individually, NSYNC has and will forever be one of the leading boy bands of all time. The group has released hit after hit, including "Bye Bye Bye", "Tearin' up My Hear", "I Want You Back", and "It's Gonna Be Me" and cultivated themselves as one of the leading pop artists in the late 90s to early 2000s. The group consists of JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick.

Despite disbanding in 2004 to pursue solo careers, the group has since reconnected on multiple occasions to remind the world of their continued legacy & influence on pop culture and the future for boy bands. Most notably, the group reconnected during the 2013 MTV VMA awards to accompany Justin Timberlake's performance.

Timberlake went on to form his own artistry separate from the band with his first solo album "Justified" where he blended his previous pop taste into a more sultry Hip Hop sound. "Rock Your Body" and "Cry Me a River", two of the biggest hits from the album charted on Billboard's Hot

100 and remain as two of his

most popular songs. The album went on to receive multiple awards, including "Best Album", "Best Pop, and "International Album" at the 2004 Brit Awards.

Once the band began parting ways, JC released two albums in 2004, "Schizophrenic" and "Some Girls (Dance With Women)". Both albums touch on a more R&B and Hip Hop genre, straying away from his previous endeavors in pop music. "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)" charted as his most successful song from the album with critical appraisal worldwide. He has yet to release any new music but has worked with other artists in the studio as a producer.

Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick shied away from releasing music and re-entering the industry after the dismantlement of NSYNC, however, they've found other endeavors both online and offline.

On September 12th, the 2023 MTV VMA Awards were held for another year of talent celebration, live performances, and reunions, boy band reunions to be more specific. Timberlake, Fatone, Kirkpatrick, Bass, and Chasez rejoined to deliver the "Best Pop Award" and stunned the audience with a nostalgic throwback. Shortly after their television appearance, the group made public that they were hitting the studio 20 years later for an upcoming Trolls Movie, titled "Better Place" releasing on September 29th.

Will there be an NSYNC reunion & new music coming from the original boy band leaders?
