Jonas Brother's Release 'The Album'

The pop rock boy band has been making music cohesively since 2005, released successful music within their solo careers, and today, continue to make headlines. Their reformation in 2019 was met with high appraisal from long-standing fans. The release of their first album since their reunion was the perfect way to squash their retired boyband era and re-establish themselves as iconic artists in the music industry.

Jonas Brothers

Their newest studio release, 'The Album' was made public in January in their acceptance speeches at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and was described by the band as the quintessential Jonas Brothers album. This culmination of feel good tracks devoted to their loved ones are heard within each single and could perhaps be the album of the summer.

The track is solely featuring band members Nick, Kevin, and Joe, with the addition of singer and producer, Jon Bellion. Their timeline within music is astounding as they transition through teen heartbreaks to devoting their album to their partners & children. The release highlights their jaw-dropping talent, specifically their vocal range and soul-filled depth within each creatively-crafted track.

We're diving into a few of our favorites...

The single 'Walls' houses not only beautiful lyricism clearly defining the appreciation & love they have for their spouses but gives us a a clear view of the range in their vocal talent. From hitting a lower and raspier tone to the difficult high notes is something that'll stop you in your tracks. The group performed this stellar song on Saturday Night Love and it was met with worldwide awe at the apparent emotion oozing from each member. Fans worldwide are finding this tune chilling in the best way possible.

Their first teaser to their upcoming album was with the release of 'Waffle House', a jukebox playing summer song that will be getting you on your feet at any hour, every hour. This release was also sung on televisions Saturday Night Live and the pure joy from all of them was clear. One can even detect a few hints of old school Jonas Brother themes in a more mature and complex way. The coordination between the 3 bothers is clearly given to us in a groovy and retro manner.

For any Jonas Brother fan since their culmination will feel as though their journey has come full circle with the track 'Little Bird'. Who knew we needed the perfect emotional father-daughter song to add onto our playlists. The vulnerability in this track brings an authenticity like no other and sets it apart from others on the album. The boy band hosted a one night only concert in California where they teased the song and the pure love they have for their craft & family is a sight to see. This is yet another reminder of the growth of this boy band not only musically but since their formation in the early 2000s.

'Vacation Eyes' is another beloved track by millions as they bring a 70s & 80s contemporary style to our ears. The track is a reminder of simplicity and the joy of music and love as they describe the story of how band member Kevin Jonas met his current wife Danielle. The personable song mixes both retro and modern in its beat, rhythm, and baseline as they tell the beautiful love story tale.
