With weekend one under the belt and only three days until we're back in Coachella Valley for yet another weekend of good music, unmatched energy, and surprise performances, we're reflecting on some of the biggest highlights from the highly anticipated weekend.

From the broad range of artists to unmatched headliners, the festival came in hot with incredible talent from across the globe... one of which is the melancholic singer, Lana Del Rey. In addition to her mesmerizing setlist and vocals, including "Summertime Sadness" & "Born to Die", she brought out a prior Coachella headliner, Billie Eilish to perform "Ocean Eyes". Fans were shocked at the sudden artist cameo as well as the once in a lifetime opportunity to hear the duo sing the 2016 hit. They even followed up with a second intimate performance of Lana's "Video Games".
Doja Cat headed on over to yet another performance on the main stage. With a no skips setlist, from her broad discography, including "Streets", "Tia Tamera", and even "Need to Know", she truly gave this weekend her all. It's come to no surprise that her stage presence has us all in awe, but she calls out haters who openly disagree with how she chooses to express her art as well as herself, as seen in her choice of costume. She kicked off her iconic performance with her slew of dancers covered in long blonde locks followed by buzzing off the entire look onstage. This specific choice pays homage to the beginning of her new buzzed look from the summer of 2023 where onlookers were quick to disapprove of her new look and outwardly comment "we miss the old Doja". Her beautiful response to these verbal remarks was to take things to the complete opposite side of the pendulum and give those negative commentators what they've been asking for.
The rock band, No Doubt, which includes lead singer Gwen Stefani brought us back in time with their 1995 single "Just A Girl" that seems to be resurfacing in popularity within the newer generation. In addition to taking part of the resurge of the punk genre, the group brought out the the latest it punk girl, Olivia Rodrigo to accompany them onstage and deliver a rockin' performance.

The surprise performances from other artists doesn't stop there as Justin Bieber joined Tems and Wizkid for their single "Essense". This rare performance was a can't be missed sight from all three as they harmonized for their 2021 Reggae hit and have us begging for more collaborations in 2024.
This year's Coachella performances was a first for multiple artists, including the talented Ice Spice. With a crowd of thousands of onlookers watching in awe and singing alongside some of her most streamed hit singles, the energy she gave us was unlike any other. Although the rapper has taken center stage at multiple festivals, this year's Coachella may as well have been her best and most confident one yet. With the crowd at the palm of her hand, she gave us a memorable performance by shouting out crowd member Taylor Swift, and delivering her crowd-roaring verse from Swift's single "Karma".
It's been quite a year for singer, Sabrina Carpenter as she's traveled alongside Taylor Swift for the eras tour, performing her new album "Emails I Can't Sent", and further instilling her pop icon status. Throughout the year, she's been known to adjust the ending lyrics to her multi-platinum single "Nonsense" for each live show, and continued this tradition into the weekend's Coachella performance, which Coachella-goers have been waiting for.

If you thought it ended there with performances from a broad range of artists, Will Smith joined J Balvin's set for a nostalgic performance of "Men in Black" from his 1997 original sci-fi film.
After an eventful weekend 1 in the Coachella Valley, weekend 2 is only headed up from here and is sure to deliver in guest appearances, surprise tracks, and energy.
