A Look back At Our 2022 Wrapped

As 2022 comes to a close and we welcome 2023, let's reflect on this year's music.



Multiple albums have been released this year and one after one, they continue to top the charts. With Bad Bunny's "Un Verano Sin Ti", Harry Style's "Harry's House", The Weeknd's "Dawn FM", and Taylor Swift's "Midnights" album, this year has carried some of the biggest songs to date. Let's not forget about other albums and singles from 2022 and what to expect in the upcoming year.


Rosalía had an incredible year with her 4 Grammy wins at this year's Latin Grammy's, including album of the year for her newest release: "MOTOMAMI". This win crowned her as the first woman in Latin Grammy history to win the album of the year award twice. Her MOTOMAMI tour was a worldwide sensation as she traveled from Spain to North America, and ending in Europe. More to come from this incredible artist

Ari Lennox's album "Age/Sex/Location" released just a few months ago has been a global uproar, with successful singles like "Queen Space" featuring Summer Walker and "Boy Bye" featuring Lucky Daye her album continues to be a chart topper. Her album tour is upcoming in early 2023 so mark your calendars.





The band Glass Animal's song “Heat Waves”, released in 2020 has amassed over a whopping 2 billion streams on Spotify alone in the 2022 year. Their album "Dreamland", which includes the single began accumulating worldwide recognition and love when the song blew up on TikTok. The song alone has breached double platinum and is their biggest song to date. We'll definitely be seeing more to come from the band in 2023.




The indie artist Lizzie McAlpine whose music has gained mass appraisal, released her newest album "Five Seconds Flat" in early 2022. This album is currently one of her biggest albums and has features from great artists such as FINNEAS, Ben Kessler, and Jacob Collier. Her presence on Youtube and social media have connected her with fans differently than any other artist and already has released her tour dates for both the US and Europe.

The legendary Pusha T released his most recent album "It’s almost dry" in early 2022. He continues to accumulate millions of streams from his music, including "Scrape It Off", "Dreaming Of The Past", and "Rock N Roll". Each one containing legendary artists, such as Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, and Don Tolliver. His performance at Made In America in Philadelphia included some of his biggest hits and newest releases.





The list continues with plenty of incredible album releases, such as Beyonce's "RENAISSANCE", The Lumineer's "Brightside", Kane Brown's "Different Man", Guns N' Roses's "Use Your Illusion", and more!



Not only have multiple albums been dropped, but plenty of repeat-worthy singles were also released and have topped Billboard's charts all year long. From One Republic's "I Ain't Worried", Stephen Sanchez's "Until I Found You", Tiësto's "10:35", and haer's "maybe this is you".

The English singer, Cat Burns released her heart-wrenching single "Go" this past year, which accumulated over 107 million streams alone and has been remixed as well as released with a version featuring Sam Smith. The incredible singer and social media star releases heartfelt and raw music not only just with her single "Go" but with other self-written masterpieces, such as "Free", "People Pleaser", and " Fool in Love".







Jillian Steele, pop country up-and-coming star has been releasing music since 2020. Her most recent release "You Can Have Him" is her biggest song to date and has been popularized on social media apps and reaching fans worldwide. A few other recent releases are her rendition of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boi", and other self-written masterpieces such as "Lucky One's", "Just A Girl", and "John Dear".

Lewis Capaldi's single "Pointless", released in early December of this year is the perfect love song for all Capaldi fans. His continuous promo for the upcoming release took TikTok by storm with the perfect mix of humor and his personality as he teased the new tunes. The streams continue to soar on Spotify, trailing right behind his new and successful fall single "Forget Me". The Scottish singer has released his tour dates for the upcoming 2023 year and they're definitely not ones you want to miss out on.




The Argentinian rapper, Trueno and American Singer, JID joined forces in releasing "Lo Tengo". The upbeat hit has been a crowd favorite since its release last month and continues to rack up in streams and on the charts with over 2 million on Spotify alone. JID's most popular hits currently are "Enemy" featuring Imagine Dragons, "151 Rum", and "Surround Sound" featuring 21 Savage and Baby Tate. All three have over 100 million streams while "Enemy" has breached over the 1 billion mark.

Trueno's own hits have all surpassed the 150 million mark. Those songs include "Mamichula" featuring Nicki Nicole, Bizarrap, Taiu, and TATOOL, "Salimo de Noche", and "DANCE CRIP". Both artists will be on tour in the upcoming 2023 year.





The 22 year old Country singer, Payton Smith's new single "Need You To Not" made available in early 2022 continues to be a major hit on both streaming platforms and social media. Smith only started releasing music in 2019 and has been blowing up ever since. Two of his biggest hits from both 2020 and 2021 have over 1 million streams. Smith's biggest hit to date,"Like I Knew You Would" has over 31 million streams to date while his other hit "This Ain't That Song" has over 1.4 million. The self-taught guitarist has plenty more tracks to release in the upcoming year that you should definitely be keeping an eye out for.



Two incredibly talented rappers blessed our playlist with a new song released just last month. Nas and 21 Savage's single "One Mic, One Gun" has already reached Billboard's Hot 100 chart moments after its release, hitting number 43 and has racked up over 8.3 million streams. Nas's other successful songs have over 120 million streams with "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)" featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill with over 208 million. On the other end, 21 Savage's single has reached over 230 million streams with his feature in Drake's albums "Honestly, Nevermind" and "Her Loss". Those smash hits include "Rich Flex", "Jimmy Cooks", and "Major Distribution".
